I think it's a lovely name! It does sound like Anna Karenina, but I still like it. I've actually been considering Marina as a first name, but I'm really hesitant because a marina is a place where you dock your boat :-/ I don't know if people would usually think of that or not, but I live in a coastal area and after falling in love with the name I made the connection.
