    Leon
    Leonard
    Leonardo
    Leopold
Lionel - a little more of a stretch, but the word 'lion' is there, so I think Leo could work.

My personal favourite is Leander - it means "lion of a man", and has a similiar sound to Alexander. It may not be as straight forward as Leopold or Leonardo, but I think its fabulous.

    Eleodoro

    Leocadie
    Leod
    Leodegrance
    Leofric
    Leofrido
    Leofwin
    Leomaris
    Leon
    Leonard
    Leonardo

    Leontino
    Leontios
    Leopold
    Leor
    Leotis
    Leotrim
    Macleod
    Napoleon

    Arsalan -- lion
    Arslan -- lion
    Azmer -- resembling a lion
    Haidar -- lion
    Jatila -- lion
    Kasar -- resembling a lion
    Laith -- lion
Liev -- heart of a lion
    Lionel -- young lion
Llewellyn -- shining one, lion like
