I could see a Sophia with the nn Saffy or Ffion/Ffia. The good thing about Sophia is that there are quite a few pet names/nicknames that you could glean from it.

dancingal - ::hugs:: It's okay! Name regret happens. Just take heart in the fact that Sophia Grace is a gorgeous combo.

I think Sophie-Grace would be a great nn.

    Or Fia-Grace.

    Safi, Solly...IDK.

What about Sia? (see-uh) I've met a women who's full name was Cia (see-uh), always thought it was interesting. I think it would make a good nn.

Or if you want something cuter, what about Figi? As in soPHIa G.

    Fee
    Phia
    Saffy/Sapphy

    More unusual:
Pip [change the f sound of the p]
    Pippi/Pippa
    Thea
    Poppy
    Story [maybe?]
    Sue/Su
    Scout
    Suki
    Snow
    Sol [means 'sun' or something]
    Sky
    Shell

Or...you could choose something that reflects her personality that isn't related to her name-maybe something short but with a meaning that 'fits' her.

I remember there was a mother who had a little Sophia nicknamed Posy, which I think is adorable! That being said I happen to love double-barreled names and would love to meet a little Sophie-Grace
