Such a tough situation! Hopefully some of these might help!

Bethlehem- you could call her Beth/Bethy. I know its not common, but it fits with the religious December. The name Belen is also spanish for Bethlehem and very pretty (pronounced Bay-Len, not Bell-en)
Gloria- "Hark the Heralds, Angels sing..." I like this one for the December theme.
Gabrielle/Gabriella- Female version of the Angel Gabriel, and its a pretty "normal" name, plus Gabby/Gabbie/Gaby is cute

    Literary:
Pemberley- The name of Mr. Darcy's home in Debryshire, sounds similar to Kimberly but prettier if you ask me
Darcy- speaking of Darcy, a very popular and cute girls name
Cora- A charaters name in the book, Last of the Mohicans, and its a very common name now
Sydney- Tale of Two cities Character
Lucie- unique spelling from a character of A Tale of Two Cities
Mayella- Character in To Kill a Mockingbird, written by southern author Harper Lee
    Harper- Look above

You already have such beautiful childrens names, I really hope these help!

Names that feel classic and vintage-y but also have literary & faith connections and are well-known imo:
Lucy -means "light" which would be a great name for a December baby, since the Light of the World was born at Christmas (although, I'm assuming that when you said your faith was central, that you're Christian... but if you're Jewish, it also works for Chanukka )
    Jane -means "God is gracious"
Phoebe -Biblical name that also means "light"
hope that helps (sorry list is so short -baby's nap is finished now )
Mommy to John Alexander & 3 furbabies; Maggie the dog, Rex & Bella the wannabe lions

Current favourites: girls -Eliana [Bronwen, Joy, Claire, Irene], Leora [Irene, Bronwen, Bronwyn], Sarah Elise, Anna Charlotte, Adelaide, Phoebe, Kathryn, Elizabeth, Anastasia, Celeste, Astrid, Beatrix, Lucy
boys: Callum, Arthur [Paul or William], Nathaniel, Samuel, Zachary, Elijah

You guys, these are great! Thank you so much. You would not believe how many of these names have been on my lists between last time and this time. Southernbeauty's list looked like a list of my husbands aunts and cousins!!

Ok, so here are some of my favorites that are usable (ie not already in the family, etc), but still nothing husband approved:

    Cordelia
    Amaryllis
    Penelope
    Blythe
    Magnolia
    Talullah
    Georgia
    Theodora
    Edith
    Clementine
    Zinnia
    Selah
    Cecily
    Vivienne
    Jane
    Delphine

Pemberly was on my list last time and I couldn't get any one to go for it, but I LOVE IT! And Pem is so cute for short
Bethlehem is a very interesting idea - I'm rolling that one around...

    Combos???? Thanks everyone!
