It's another girl and hubby and I don't like ANY of the same names

Starting from scratch - suggestions needed. I like meaning, literary references, and uncommon names (my daughter loves being an Avonlea) and my husband likes common names and doesn't care what they mean. Our faith is central in our lives and this baby will be born in December (they won't let me go past 39 weeks). He is a good ole country boy - and I love that about him, but I love the more Gone with the Wind southern names than the hoe down names Our last name is two syllables and ends in "O" - can anyone find me some middle ground???
    Luckiest woman in the world!

Mom to Logan Hunter, Savanna Nichole, Avonlea Noel and Arden "Birdie" Mae

Step-mom to Austin Ray, Haley Caroline, Kelsey Suzanne

and expecting someone else December 19!

Here are a few that feel classic and not too out there for your DH but might be unique enough for you.

    Ada
    Selah
    Amelie
    Flora
    Cecily
    Augusta
    Gemma
    Laurel
    Pearl
Polly (this is a nn for Mary and can be a good compromise for a classic)
    Daisy
    Maisie

Also, family names are a great way to get an unexpected name that works for classic lovers. Check out middle names, surnames, and names from several generations back on his side. You might find some gems that seem unusual, but because it was great grandma's name he's used to it. That's what I'm doing!

I absolutely adore the name Avonlea. It is so beautiful and way underused.
I definitely love the pp suggestion of Augusta.

    Some other possibilities are:
    Ruby
    Caroline
    Josephine
Charlotte - Lottie as a nn would be super cute, and vintage-y.
    Addison
    Alice
    Audrey
    Margaret
Darlene - I really love this for some reason, nn Darcy. I just think its adorable.
    Tallulah
    Lillian
    Emmeline
    Ivy
    Nora
    Leona
    Matilda
    Tessa
    Violet
    Vivian
    Annabelle
    Sadie

I hope you at least like one of these. I tried to stick to names that I either find have a vintage or classic feel to them, or names I think have a southern feel to them. Hope I helped, and good luck.
