    I like Amandine more than Maeve, but prefer Almandine. I think it's lovely and feminine.

    I work in health care, so the drug amantadine immediately comes to mind. I'm not able to shake that association. Maeve, on the other hand, I love!

    I pronounce it a-mawn-DEEN as well. I don't really have any opinion about the name, as i feel like I've read about it, but I've never actually hard it used, so it's in that weird familiar but foreign spot for me. I don't dislike it as a name, i could see it being sweet on a little girl
    I hope to be a mom one day. For now I enjoy being a name lover.
