Annabel fit the bill and we chose the Scottish spelling (my name is also Scottish). We had no special reason for Winter, other than it popped up when we were looking for a two-syllabel middle name to go with her one syllabel last name. In fact she was born on the hottest day of the year so far, but we liked the poetic sound of Annabel and Winter together.

    Annabel means grace and loveable/lovely.
THis is a lovely name for a lovely baby. Congrats!

    Thanks!

Thanks for everyone's sweet comments! From some of your lists it seems we favor the same types of names... Love seeing Flynn, Evangeline, Ruby and Lilas. One note for anyone that likes Annabel... She's only been around for 2 (amazing, wonderful) months and already is having her name misspelled very frequently (Annabelle). And everyone has loved Winter but wants us to have a significance for it

Already thinking of baby (name) #2... We'd keep our boy's name but need a girl name in the wings that matches Annabel Winter....
