I vote for Cecilia-- all I can see when I read "Cece" or "Cecelia" is "feces," (which I know is a stretch, but still. It makes -ece an unpleasant sequence of letters.) And Cecily sounds like the name of someone obnoxious to me.
If you want to honor without copying, I second the suggestion of Celia. Gorgeous name.Gwen

I much prefer Cecilia.Mom to Alexander Patrick (11), Madelyn Esther (8), Genevieve Susan (3), and Theodore James (stillborn at 37 weeks on February 3, 2014). Expecting #5 (a girl) in May 2015 -- Penelope Bridget.
