I vote for Cecilia-- all I can see when I read "Cece" or "Cecelia" is "feces," (which I know is a stretch, but still. It makes -ece an unpleasant sequence of letters.) And Cecily sounds like the name of someone obnoxious to me.
If you want to honor without copying, I second the suggestion of Celia. Gorgeous name.Gwen: Film student, bookworm, and bad influence.

I much prefer Cecilia.Mom to Alexander Patrick (10), Madelyn Esther (7), Genevieve Susan (2), and angel baby Theodore James (stillborn at 37 weeks on February 3, 2014).
