YES I was wondering if Eugenie & Leonie are too matchy?! I have an -ie problem!

I think some -y/-ie names can be too matchy, but Eugenie and Leonie have such distinct sounds that I think you're totally fine. I don't really think you should feel locked into another-y/-ie name for a third kid or anything.

Eugenie is a good name, strong and beautiful. Whenever I hear the name, I think of Victoria Eugenie of Battenberg (Queen Ena of Spain), she was a quite lovely woman who did a lot of work for the Spanish Red Cross. I'm not particularly fond of Jean, but I do think that Eugenie would be a great way of paying tribute to that name.
