    Sounds a little feminine. Leonides is the closest name I like.

    I love Leander! I never, ever, ever thought of Leanne when I think of Leander. I personally prefer the nn Leo to Lee or Anders, but the others are nice, too. I love it as an alternative to the classic, very familiar Alexander.

    Great, I also like the nn Leo. So many nn to choose from!

    Yes it can sound a bit soft but i actually prefer soft boy names such as Rowan, think i may have to run this past the other half to see if it can be added to our list. Thanks for everyones input.
