    Balthasar

This is my preferred spelling of Balthasar. But I am stumped as to a great nickname. I have three young children and want them to easily be able to say their new brothers name.
Any ideas on a nickname that isn't just Bal or Sar?
    Thanks.
Also, my three names at present are Balthasar, Crosby and Atlas. All different from each other, and I like them for different reasons. Which one do you like best or do you have any other suggestions. Middle name is going to be Gane (family name that I really want to use). Surname two syllables ending in o.

I knew a Balthasar in high school. If I remember correctly, people often called him Balthy (with a "T" rather than a "Th" sound).

Also: I think Balthasar is a great name

    What about Balto?

I know it was a movie years ago, but I still think it's super cute!

I know it's usually a nickname for Sebastian, but could Bas or Baz be a nickname for Balthasar?
