    Hazel, Eloise or Freya

Hello everybody! I am new here and need opinions! Our top 3 names are Eloise, Hazel and Freya. Which one do you like the most?

-Big brother is Broderick, nn Brody
-Middle name will be Winifred no matter what
-italian last name- ends in "ah"

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

I think Eloise works the best for you. It's a longer name that has a bunch of nicknames like Broderick "Brody" and it would go well with Winifred and an Italian last name. I love Freya and Hazel but they seem kind of short next to Broderick. (By the way, my cousin is named Broderick "Brody" and I totally thought he was the only one! Even on these name forums I've never heard of another. )

I agree with the previous poster. Eloise and Brody (Broderick) seems like the winner! Eloise Winifred + Italian last name seems most fitting too. Freya would be my second choice with your son's name.

I adore Hazel, and I think Broderick "Brody" and Hazel are adorable together. And Hazel Winifred is lovely. Brody and Eloise is nice, but I've just never gotten the appeal of it. Still a nice name, though, and has lovely nns (Ella! Elle! Lou! Lola! Lulu!). Freya is nice, and Brody and Freya are lovely, but I've never really "gotten" Freya, either.

    Good luck!

I like Hazel and Freya best. The repeating w- sound of Eloise Winifred bothers me a little, plus I find Eloise a bit overly cutesy. Hazel is spunky-elegant, Freya is ethereal-elegant, and they both flow wonderfully with Winifred and could easily be a sister to Broderick.
