Yeah. It just feels a bit too lackadaisical to be a serious name. I prefer Willa.

Maybe it's a location thing? I'm in Southern California. Maybe it's used a lot elsewhere. I think of a tall "willowly" blonde girl. What about the name Winter? I see that as similar to Willow in a lot of ways.

I never real liked Willow as a name for a real person, but I met a little girl named Willow when I took my LO to the play center yesterday, and I think it suited her. Her mom was clearly a total hippy, though, so maybe that's why it seemed appropriate? I do think it's cute, but Willa is a much more wearable name IMO.

Hmmm Could definitly be a location thing.. I'm In Sydney AUS and Willow is not overly common down here.. Not unheard of but not a name you hear everyday or even every year! I LOVE the name Winter but am not brave enough to use it as a first name.. It's a middle name for me

I agree Winter takes guts lol! I like Ivy from your poll. Maybe Ivy Willow? Or even Ivy Winter? I know it's two "thing" names but I think they both make lovely combos and Ivy is a little more mainstream.
