    @sarahmezz - that's because it's a beautiful name though.

    I'd use Sarah for a girl in a heartbeat.

    My name Ellie is currently #84 on the SSA list, so yes! My name is in the Top 100, and rising. When I was born it was obviously less popular, but since I'm named after a movie character, I wouldn't be surprised if the year I was born it had a big blip. I don't find my name super popular though. I only know a few other Ellies and I'm pretty sure half of them are Eleanors, Elizas, and Elizabeths.
    I'm actually kind of glad that my name is getting more popular. I sometimes feel like only the only Berry who thinks nickname-names are cool, and Ellie is sort of the epitome of that. It doesn't sound childish to me. It's very upbeat, but also reserved in a way. So I've decided to champion my name's popularity instead of scorn at it. All hail Ellie, queen of all nickname-names!

    My name is Sabrina. It wasn't in the year I was born (1970) and it isn't now but it peaked in 2000 where it made #92 I guess when I'm an old lady I will have a youthful name!
