    Romantic and Rare

    I'm trying to help a friend out who is due at the end of November with her 4th child and third daughter. She's attracted to romantic names that end in A. Her other children are Sophia Kristine, Landon Scott, and Ava Alexandra. She would like to find a name that sounds good in the sibling set, but is a lot less used. Outside of the top 1000 would even be great. She's drawn to Raya atm, but isn't totally sure about it. Suggestions?

    Raya is pretty but maybe a little plain and a little too close in sound to Ava. That is if it's Ray-a. It might be Rye-a. That's also a potential concern - people might have pronunciation confusion over it.

    Violetta, suggested above, came to mind. Violet is having such a day in the sun right now, and Sophia, Ava, and Violet might be a more natural pairing for most people, but given your friend loves A endings and wants something rarer, Violetta fits the bill!

    Some other thoughts based on expected options:
    Instead of Olivia --> Olivetta, Oliviana
    Instead of Isabella --> Isadora
    Instead of Vivienne --> Viviana

    Seraphina fits really well except for sharing the same letter as Sophia, which she might want to avoid.
    What about Josefina instead of Seraphina?

    Thinking of Raya makes me think of Rila (rhymes with Lila or starts like Riley), and Roxana.

    Good luck to your friend!
