I used to only like it on boys but I've really been digging it as a girl's name lately. I've only ever met boys named Quinn though, so for me it still has a masculine association which I just can't seem to shake. As much as I like it, I don't think I'd ever use it unless I could find a longer full name to use Quinn as a nickname for. I love to see it used on other people's kids though!

I actually like Quinn Joy. Flow has never been a big thing for me, and I think Joy is very sweet as a middle name.

I know a baby Quinn.. Love it!! I personally like Quinn Elizabeth. I have a one syllable last name also- can complicate things a bit!

What do I think of Quinn? Daria, of course. But in all seriousness, it's a cute name on a young lady. It trends toward unisex, but the only Quinn I actually know is a stereotypical, glamorous cheerleader.

Quinn is cute for a little girl, and ages well (I imagine Quinn could easily be a no-nonsense executive at the top of her field). Q is a fun nickname, too. I actually prefer Quinn for girls.

I agree with others that Quinn is best paired with a longer middle name, but I understand your concerns about it sounding a little too close to Queen when using middles like Elizabeth or Victoria (both of which are still useable middles, I think). Perhaps you could avoid this by using names that are not shared with well-known queens... someone suggested Natalia, which I think sounds lovely. Maybe you'd like something more popular, like Olivia or Aria?
