    Not at all. Maybe a nickname. Do you know the movie Aimee and Jaguar? Great person, but a tragic namesake (and it was a nickname for her).

    Jaguar, especially with the nickname Jag, is a nickname nightmare waiting to happen. Jag, hag, bag, rag, there's a f-one... I realize names will be made fun of regardless but why make it easy for people to tease, especially when there's an obvious not-so-nice nickname (or two) in there.

    I have to be honest so please dont take offense but Jaguar sounds so harsh for a little girl! Jagger however would be cute on a boy though I'm from NSW too and just don't think it's all that wearable in our town. HTH
