I like Katarina but Skye sounds like a filler.

I think the Catarina or Caterina spelling is "classier", and looks better with Skye, though I'm not sure I like the two together (it doesn't sound like a stripper name, but they don't really sound good together). A more unusual, solid nature name would avoid any potential lap-dancing names. Here are some mn suggestions:

    Shea
    Niamh/Neve
    Winter
    Sage
    Mae
    Lark
    Ruby
    Aspen
    Bryn
    Poesy
    Sorrel
    Rose
    Jade
    Birch
    Fleur
    Violet
    Willow

Katarina is beautiful and Skye is definitely not a filler middle. Just because it's one syllable doesn't make it uncreative. Katarina Skye is stunning, not stripper-y. Skye softens the combo and adds a lot spunk. I might be a bit biased because of a character in one of my favorite books is named Skye, but even with that association I still think it's cute. Why do Berries hate Skye so much? It sort of has a similar feel and style to Wren, which is almost universally Nameberry accepted. Even if you don't use Skye, Katarina is a great name nonetheless. I like the suggestion of Katarina Hazel.

I love Caterina but prefer this Italian spelling to the Eastern European one. I quite like the look of Caterina Skye actually Maybe because this combination only features one 'k'.
