Part Two: Males Saint Names Ending In The Letter "R"

Hello Berries, this is my second post regarding male saint names. Since occupational names like as Spencer and Cooper are gaining in popularity, this time I thought it would be fun to supply a small list of unique saint names that end in "r" taken from "The Catholic Baby Name Book" by Patrice Fagnant-Macarthur. Some of them are quite unusual. and some are questionable to use (Dominator, Hunger and Possessor) Any thoughts or comments (either positive or negative) are welcome!

Wow, thanks for sharing this. And I had no idea such a book existed. I'm going to purchase it.

Most of these are a bit too out there for me, but I could see them working on other children I find Prosper to be really cute.

Caspar and Prosper are my favorites. Most of these don't feel wearable.

How do you pronounce Volodymyr and Ymar?
Most of these names don't seem usable, especially not Hunger, Senator, Posessor, or Hunger.
I like Caspar, Casimir, and Helier.

Volodymyr is a Ukrainian saint and it's roughly pronounced as 'voh-loh-DEE-meer" (I don't speak Ukrainian so that's the best I can do). It's closely related to the Russian name of Vladimir as well as the Germanic Waldemar.

Ymar was an Anglo-Saxon saint who was martyred by invading Danes. I would pronounce it "ee-mar" because it looks like Mary with the "y" in front.
    All the best,
    Mischa.
