I would pronounce Loch as "lock", which is probably Americanized. What is the proper pronounciation?

One of the reasons we love the name Lachlan is the meaning: a Scottish name for one from Norway, the land of lakes. My husband is of Norwegian heritage and is from Minnesota (also the land of lakes!).

Since it's so meaningful to you, what about using Lachlan as a middle name.

Oakley Lachlan is a bit L heavy but it could work.

    Zander Lachlan sounds great!

by the by, Waverly is very pretty, what middle are you using?
    Livy/Lucy : Geneva/Gwen : Coralie/Alice : Noelle/Eve
    Eli/Bennett : Jude/Zane: Luke/Leo : Levi/Phineas

It's funny that I never really thought of using Lachlan as a middle name. That's a great suggestion though. We haven't put much thought into middle names yet, being as stuck as we are on first names.

For Waverly, we are considering Willow for a middle name. I usually don't like that kind of first letter alliteration, and Waverly Willow has kind of a hippy sound to it, but I'm in love with it nevertheless!

    Go with dash!!!!!!

I think Lachlan is too close to the other name and its a little feminine to me. I really don't like Oakley. I love Dash without the iell. I'm neutral about Nolan.
