Husband apparently *really likes* Lachlan and Auberon, along with Alaric. Those are his personal favorites, which, carries a little weight.

Any middle name suggestions? Last name begins with a D, so I'd hate for it to "spell something" (I'd love to do Lachlan Aurelius or Ignatius.. one of my faves, but they spell LAD and LID!)

I'd totally avoid initials that spell anything. It would be great to go with something that starts with a consonant. For middle names, it'll be great to honor a close friend or family member. The other option would choosing a more daring or avant garde middle name. It could something really usual and stylish but are afraid for a first name position.
