Flora hands down. I never really liked Fiona.

Fiona has never appealed to me. Flora, on the other hand, sounds beautiful and timeless. And as others have said, I'd be excited to meet a little girl named Flora.

I love them both, but have to pick Flora. I smile so much everytime I see that name

I really like both, but think Fiona has a slightly prettier sound. Not sure if that makes any difference to you.

As someone else mentioned, Flora (well, in Aus anyway) is a very popular margarine/butter spread. I actually love the name, but my husband vetoed it straight away for that reason. But thats still my pick from Fiona. I was born in the mid-70s and when I was at school there were many Fionas. And I found each one of them to be prissy, know-it-alls who had a tendency to be bullies. Of course, not saying all Fionas are like this!! But that was my experience of them so Fiona is on my no-go list
