    Adora as a first name?

What do you think when you hear or meet someone with this name? I love it's unique quality, I ADORE that it has that word in it and it's meaning is lovely. It goes with our baby name criteria as well. But I want some non-biased opinions. Here's what I came up with:

    Adora Lillian
    Adora Charlotte
    Adora Olivia
    Adora Joy
    Adora Jeri

All the middle names are family names and we are pretty set on Lillian at the moment. The name also needs to go well with the ever popular (I don't care I love it) Isabella. I feel like Adora is a little weaker then Lillian as a first but both go well.

Our naming criteria was pop culture. Isabella is named after a character I love from a certain set of novels I'm sure you all have heard of.

Adora is the Princess of Power from DHs favorite Saturday morning cartoon, He-man/She-Ra. She's the leader of the rebellion and is well, bad ass.

Do you think it can work as a first? Originally I was pushing for Lillian Adora but the other way around is growing on me.

Thank you SO much nameberries! I'm due in Sept. so I don't have much time left to ponder!

I really like Adora on its own. It's sweet, and Isabella and Adora are nice together.
Of the middle name options i like Adora Charlotte the best, closely followed by Adora Lillian. What will you use for the mn for Isabella?
    Good luck

What a "non biased opinion"? Do you want honesty, or just positive opinions on the name?

Honestly, I prefer Adara. I don't know of any pop culture reference for Adara though.

    I prefer Adara, too.

I googled it and found this on Nameberry! "Perfect name for a Virgo baby. It is also the name of a character in the fantasy Belgariad series."

Not a huge fan, sorry. It a bit precious for a grown woman and it wouldn't be a great name on someone who wasn't that adorable...
Endora? That was the mom on Bewitched? It's a bit more neutral, but princessy like Isabella.
