I've seen Roxy spelled Rocsi...at least it gets you away from Roxanne.

I really like the suggestions of Poppy, Wren, Piper, and Willow. I also like Arden, but I wouldn't use it if you still planned to name a boy Arlo in the future.

    Quentin Charles, born July 4!

    Russell Theodore
    Catherine Violet

My take on Arlo is that it's a bit quirky, a bit cheeky, cool. Not a classic, mainstream name, something a bit suprising, but not something new, made up, or trendy. It's intelligent, but walks to its own drummer.

Roxanne, in my opinion, fits the bill perfectly. Roxy, on the other hand, take it down a notch. Sassy, yes, but the -y ending robs it of the distinction Arlo owns. But since you don't like the full version, how about.....

    Delilah
    Georgia
    Lilith
    Iris
    Olive
    Freida
    Flora
    Celeste
    Lorna
    Alma
    Renata
    Adele
    Sybil
    Jessamy
    Rowena
    Lenore
    Freya
    Avis
    Paloma
    Sorrel
    Flavia

I would suggest Ardith, but you wouldn't want Ardith and Arlo in the future.
