    @aillidh I totally understand. I used to feel the same way about the name.However, I now find it very pretty.
    @rosietoes I love your daughter's name. I love Rosamund Isabelle and Rosamund Pearl. Thank you.

    Any other ideas?

    Negative We're perfectly capable of getting our tongues to say 'roes-a-mund' but the correct pronunciation of Rosamond - an English name - is 'roz-a-mund' so that's how we say it.

    I actually adore Rosamund, Rosalind, and Rosette. I first heard of Rosamund from a piece of classical music that I played on the violin as a child (can't remember the name). But I was immediately struck by how gorgeous this name is. I'd love to see all three of them used more! I'd love to meet a little Rosamund...

    I pronounce it Rosa-mond as well and I think that's fine! Super adorable name with cute nickname potential!

    hehe, sorry about that I've never been out of the states and don't have much experience with British accents other than in movies. In the recording, it sounded like a mix of both pronunciations to me, so I wasn't sure which way he was pronouncing it.
