    Thoughts on Aristana

I came across Aristana in a nameberry list, and it definitely stood out to me; it strikes me as somewhere between Anastasia and Arabella. Was curious what others' first impressions of the name would be...

Though I'm not familiar with Aristana, I can imagine it working on a little girl. It reads to me like a preppy (and more appealing) cousin of Ariana.

It feels like an invented blend of an Aris- + -tana (father Aristotle with mother Montana). It doesn't have enough history or a meaning for me to feel towards it. I'd do a Super Search on here of names with either "aris" or "tana" in them to see more options.

Sounds made-up, but for an invented name it's pretty if a little musty. I prefer Araminta, Arista, or Ariana.

At the very least, it would make a stunning character name. (It's going in my file for potential future characters).

I'm not completely sold on it as a first name, but adore it in the middle position.

    Emilie Aristana
    Sophia Aristana
    Jane Aristana
    Elisabeth Aristana
