Actually, Sleeping Beauty's name has pretty much ALWAYS been Brier Rose. Not a Disney invention, which is awesome.

Anywho, I've always thought it was odd on a girl anyway, ha. I like it for either.
I'm not feeling incredibly profound at the moment. Check back later.

Just seems a tad feminine to me... but it could probably work. Just make sure it's paired with a traditional, masculine name to fall back on.

"Brier" is what you call a curling tournament to me. Briar is a unisex nature name and I love it for girl or boy.

The name itself actually sounds very masculine to me. I like it for both genders. The only thing is the Sleeping Beauty association. It might offer some potential teasing. But I think Briar sounds very handsome.
