Thread: WDYT of my favourites?
July 11th, 2013 12:25 PM #11
Vivian / Vivienne : Very nice, I would love to meet a baby/little Vivienne.
Viviana : I think I prefer Vivienne.
Luna : Love! Great conotations and lovely sounding name.
Sofia : Okay, but a little popular for my tastes, even with the alternate spelling.
Selena : Cute, but maybe too associated with Ms. Gomez right now?
Miranda : I love Miranda. It is a great strong name that you don't hear a lot anymore.
Jasmine : A little dated and Disney to me. I don't know where you live, but I used to live on the mid-east coast of the US and if you added all the spellings together there were like 12 Jasmine/Jazmyn/etcs. in each school... It got a little overkill for me and turned me off of the name.
Louisa : Love love love! My favorite on your list. It is strong but feminine, has history and also literary connections. Great choice.Ladies
Caroline Frances Luna ~ Clarity Anneliese Kate ~ Josephine Louisa Danielle
Marilyn Lucille ~ Rosemary Margaret Jayne ~ Seraphina Ruby Elizabeth
David Theodore John ~ Elijah Laurence Rhys ~ Ezra William Beau
Frederick Benjamin Roger ~ Julian Samuel James ~ Logan Christopher Knightley
Literary GP Combos
Charlotte Pemberley Jane ~ Philippa Austen Rose
Expecting Spring 2016!

Roughly in order of preference
Luna - absolutely LOVE!
Vivienne - slightly prefer this spelling over Vivian
Sofia - prefer this spelling to Sophia. Not really a fan of how popular she is though.
Louisa - like this as a middle, rather than first
Viviana - just not a fan of the 'ana' ending
