Theo is becoming too popular. Luca is a great name, but I think I'm swayed by Ezra, just because its such a strong, manly name. I can imagine it on a serious, intellectual doctor type and also on a free-spirited rockstar/artist type! Love it! Can I also suggest Eli which is another great name.x

Ezra by far! Hmm, I didn't know about the Ezra from the Bible, but it doesn't bother me. I am not exactly religious though.

    Deltawhisky,

That is so funny - my partner has two children (my step-children) and one is named Eli!

I would not use Ezra because of your slight concern with the Biblical implications.

I think Theo is better to be a nickname for Theodore.

Luca seems feminine to me, while Lucas is masculine to me.

    I would name him Lucas.

If you love Theo, go for it, but it's not my taste. I prefer the full name Theodore with nickname Teddy. As for Ezra and Luca, I love both of them. They are fantastic names and you cannot go wrong with either of them. Best of luck!
