    Finding a Name from the Nickname

    hi everyone,

    i saw a tv show where a boys name was Tori and it really seemed to work. id like it to just be a nickname though, whats a name that i can get Tori from?

    I HAVE ALREADY SEARCH NAMEBERRY FOR ALL NAMES CONTAINING 'TOR' THEY ARE BELOW.

    I AM TRYING TO FIND SOMETHING DIFFERENT AND UNEXPECTED. and since they are all basically different spellings of the same names, this is gonna be hard lol.

    Well, I'm rather partial to Torrin as a name.

    Torian and Hector are the ones I like besides. This list pretty much covers everything, unless you make something up, which is quite doable if you have a starting syllable like Tor.

    It's great you did such a thorough search. I'd chose the easiest one and just go with Torin or Toril although Toriano sounds sexy to little old me.

    I really like Salvatore. I knew a Tore, and his name came from a relative who was Salvatore nn Tore. It's unique, but it's definitely a real, traditional Italian name. (Also follows the current trendiness of Sebastian - a name with a long tradition, but uncommon to the ears of our generation, long S name for boys.)
