    Ian... what?

I've started to look for an Ian combo, and I'm finding myself really stumped. Nothing I find seems to really excite me, and I feel like I'd like an interesting combo, especially since Ian's a bit more common. I have about 10 options I'm tossing around, but none of them are really wowing me. Any ideas? I've been thinking of using Grant as a second middle, if it doesn't clash with the first middle. Ian is already honoring (an international form of my dad and brother's name), so I'm not particularly fussed about using another family name here. I had thought something literary, historical, Biblical (or even a Christian hero, like Martin Luther or John Wycliffe), or even music related might be nice, so it had some meaning other than "I liked it", but right now I'll gladly just take a combo I like.

What would you pair Ian with?

    Thanks, Berries!

What sort of last name are well dealing with in terms of syllables and first initial? It would be more interesting if all parts of the name had a different syllable count like 2-3-1 or 2-1-3. Also, the initials would be important since you likely don't want to spell anything like ILL or IRA.

Ian is (at best) a middle name in my book. There's no strong consonant to give it any power...it sounds incomplete as a first name. Any other way to incorporate your Dad & brother's names?
