    Something of a Savior...

Well, I have a character for you all to name.

He's somewhat shady, 25ish years old. Not necessarily calm, but can keep his cool in most situations; picks his battles, so to speak. Level headed. Has a slightly troubled past, went to a Catholic school and remains bitter towards the whole thing. Lives day to day. Something of a phantom, a loner, and a drifter. Physical description: tallish, brown hair, average level of fitness, nondescript appearance. His role in the story is to be a kind of role model to the main character.

As far as naming goes, I'm looking for something heard but not common, with a good meaning. Nothing trendy unless the meaning is SOLID.

    Please and thank you.
I’m just trying to behave as I think a friend should behave. Granted, I haven’t had much practice.

I like the idea of using initials. It would work well with the name I'm leaning towards-- Lucifer, bringer of light. It fits in with my themes, a bit too well, but I'd want the name to be kind of not there until he's about to leave the story. The nickname Lucy is a tad feminine for him.

    Now I need initials... heh...

Dylan works with every type of character. It's my go-to name.
Some people are worth melting for.
