    Perfectly sing-songy....or too much?

My husbands favorite name is Kathryn/Catherine (still unsure of spelling). It is in my top three.

My question is: paired with our last name is it too much? Or just just right?

    Kathryn/Catherine Cottum (pronounced caw-tum)

Until she can decide on her own she would mainly be called Kathryn/Catherine. With the occasional at home nick-name of Kate or Katie.

I think it flows okay. Do you have a middle name picked out? That may make a difference.

I prefer the Katherine spelling or the variation Katerina.

No middle name chosen yet. We are toying with Susannah, Juliana, Leone or Noelle, but still looking at other family names.

I like Catherine Noelle. It sounds very sophisticated and graceful. Cate/Kate is a great nickname. I don't like Katie/Catie though.
