I could see Tulip being the victim of sexual sounding teasing in her teenage years. You do however have some stunning names as middles! Cordelia Moreau would be an amazing name itself! Same with Roslyn Marielle!

Lachlan Alexander - Evander 'Anders' Alcott - Cadmus Walter - Theron Xavier - Thatcher William - Peregrine North - Dresden Alasdair

Natalie Winter - Adelaide Pearl - Hermione Jane - Corisande Fable - Lavender Alina/Irie - Cordelia Autumn - Virginia Joy- Odessa Faye

Sorry, I'm not a fan of Tulip as a baby name. I can't imagine a doctor or lawyer being named Tulip. I think Rose is beautiful though.

May I suggest Petal? It's fresh and pretty and sweet (like Tulip), but without all the issues (IMHO).

I can see some future teasing, as in "two lip". I personally don't like it, just NMS.

As for the "doctor lawyer" test, your child and his/her ability matter more than their name. Who could see a Condoleezza or Barack as Secretary of State or POTUS? Or the very highly, much studied "Learned Hand" as a judge (I hear A LOT about him in law school) - I'm not joking about that name - you can easily google it.
tea drinker + cat lover + ever-evolving baker+cook...positive realist who loves beautiful words, names, and images.
