I love Aurelia, and don't worry about pronunciation issues. It's inevitable with any name. My name is Sarah, which you would think would be one of the most common and easy names, and I occasionally get older people who insist on calling me Sharon or Sherry.

Aurelia is a beautiful and sophisticated choice. It hasn't been in the top 1000 since the 1950s, so I wouldn't worry about trendiness or commonality.

I also saw that you mentioned Cecilia and Octavia.. two more of my favorites.

    Other Roman/Latin choices:
Roma or Romy (or even Romany)
    Cassia
    Cornelia
    Julia
    Junia
Livia (people think it's a cut-off version of Olivia, but it was its own name in Ancient Rome)
    Liviana
    - current loves -
    Genevieve - Aurelia - Penelope - Clementine - Matilda - Wilhelmina - Josephine - Cordelia
    Max - Frederick - Elliot - Gus - Atticus - Felix - Theodore - Beckett - Calvin
