    A very soft Lay sound for the first syllable. Kind of like Leh-OH-ne, emphasis on the middle syllable. Although, I don't mind the Lee- pronunciation either. I love this name, and I love the suggestion above of Leonie Margaret.

    She is Lay-uh-nee, with an acute accent on the first e. She always says 'you say it like A&E'.
