Feedback and suggestions for a little mountain baby
Interested in feedback and suggestions. We are due in September. Last name is very Irish, with lots of Scottish in there, too. I'd like a name that isn't totally unknown, but not too common either. Any suggestions are appreciated!
Boys - Middle name probably Alexander or Michael (family names)
Girls - Middle name Grace, Joan (family name), Skye (family name)

Micha-it's soft sounding and very cute, nms but it's still a great choice
Torin-I'm not sure I like this one as much, it sounds strange when I say it
Alexander-Classic, great choice
Elliot- very handsome name for a boy
Callum-I think of Caleb and Malcom, and talcum powder...
Evan- You mentioned a "mountain" baby name so the meaning "rock" works well with that theme.
Ethan-great overal name, never go wrong with this one. I picture a nice, helpful and sweet boy.
Amon-Not sure I dig this one so much
Laia-heard way too much, nms
Eira-MY FAVORITE LOVE LOVE
Cailin-Kind of like Kaitlyn, which is heard allot, and sounds too similar to your boy's name choices.
Good luck!XOXO Whillemina

Thanks for the feedback (and the awesome mountain names, emlaweez!) We live in the mountains and play in the woods a lot, so I love names inspired by nature. My husband is a little less nature-y, but he loves a lot of the Irish/Celtic/Scottish names that I do.
Whillemina - I'm glad you like Eira. I think it's gorgeous, and I love its meaning, since we are avid skiers. I'm never sure if people will associate with Ira (which is a boy's name that I don't love). I'm glad I kept it on the list.

Ooh, Marin Grace or Eira Grace is beautiful, and Callan Alexander is very handsome! Nora Joan would be adorable as well - you have so many good names on there that I just can't decide (I hate to think how you must be feeling, actually having to name this baby!) Are you thinking of going with a Scottish/Irish name for the first name as well? Good luck!Dougal Fitzwilliam Matthias † Skandar Christian Raphael † Richard Corentin Magnus
Carlotta Benedikte Diana † Marguerite Roxana Elisabet † Eleonora Frances Frederika
