    What a nice namesake! I would pronounce Atalaya the way you intend, first try, because it's clearly Spanish to me. Of course that way you lose honoring Adel. My problem with Adeliah is that I start with Adel (Adele) and want to say "Adele-ee-ya". Or I see "delia" in the middle and want to say "uh-Delia".

    Personally I like Atalaya. But if honoring Adel is important, maybe Adelaya?
