    Eden is one of my favorites. I knew an Eden that was sometimes called E. I don't like Edie though.

    I really like the name Eden! I agree with pp though, I wouldn't use Edie as a nn. It is the same length, and I find it more old than cute.

    Eden is lovely, but no need for a nickname. Edith makes me cringe...sounds like a subjugated housewife...eventually I get around to associating it w/Edith Wharton, the writer (which is nice), but not until after I cringe for awhile.
