    Help with second boy's name

My husband and I are expecting our second child in Sept and do not know the sex of the baby. If it is a girl we have 3 names to choose from that we both love, however if it is a boy we are stumped. Our wee boy is called Samuel (Sam) and our last name begins with an L and is two syllables.

Some names that we have been throwing around so far are...

    Henry
    Oliver (Ollie)
    Benji
    Max
    Oscar

But none have won us over yet. Any ideas would be most appreciated

    With Samuel, I would choose...

    1 Oliver
    2 Henry
    3 Oscar

I would eliminate Benji for a full name and put Benjamin on the birth certificate. Max is ok if you choose something like Maximilian for a full name just to give your son another option when he's older.

    Other Suggestions

    Peter nn Pip
    Charles nn Charlie
    William nn Will
    Alexander nn Alec
    Nicholas nn Nico
    August nn Gus
    Elias nn Eli
    Gideon nn Gid
    Matthias nn Matt
    Tobias nn Toby
    Jonah/Joseph/Josiah nn Joe
    Isaac nn Ike
    Malachi nn Kai
    Joshua nn Josh
    Jonathan nn Jon or Nathan
    Abram nn Bram
    Caleb nn Cal
    Jude
    Thomas nn Tom or Tam
    Timothy nn Timo
    All the best,
    Mischa.

From you list, I like Henry, Max, and Oliver. However, I have always thought that Sam and Charlie are perfect brothers. I would go with Charles or Charlie.
