I knew a girl named Brittni that went by Birdie. It was very cute!

I like the family connection, but I think Birdie is a little too cutesy to use as a first name. It seems like it would work better in the middle name position or as a nickname. I don't really like it with Reese.

As long as your daughter has an alternative if she dislikes it. Reese is classic. (Frankly, I'm not a fan of Birdie. I don't even like Robin, my own name).
