Shameless bump for any other ideas! Here's the master list so far for names that could be used with Fia as the nickname. I'd like to use Fia, but I can't get hubby on board because he thinks it's too much a nickname.

I haven't looked through the whole thread, so sorry if these have been suggested already:
You've said you don't care for Sophia, but what about Zofia? Or--more of a stretch, but cool, I think--Zephyrine?
Of those listed, my favorites are Fiona, Felicity, Delphina, Seraphine, Phoebe, and Ophelia (and, as mom to a Sophia nn Phia, Sophia, but it sounds as though it's not for you).
