    Pronounce Ottilie

do you say O-tilly or (with the O like in box and emphasis on the first syllable) or o-TILL-ee (same o sound, emphasis on the second syllable.

I love the name, but can't seem to find a comfortable way to say it!

I put the emphasis on the first syllable.

I'd either say OT-ill-ee (ot like hot) or o-teel-ee-a.

I've definitely been wondering this same thing ever since I made the acquaintance of Nameberry's Ottilie. I Googled it once and found the pronunciation "oh-TILL-ee-uh," but that is not intuitive to me. The double T's make me want to say "OTT-uh-lee." I agree that it's very pretty. Waiting for the Nameberry Ottilie to clear this up for us....
