Malcolm or Malachy? - I love the Biblical Malachi (kye) so the Irish Malachy (kee) is my preference.
Linus or Silas? - I love both names but I think Silas wins in the end due to its literary connection (Silas Marner was one of my favourite books when I was young).
Vincent or Evander? - I love both names but I do have soft spot for Vincent. Evander makes me think of boxer Evander Holyfield
Ozias or Ossian (pronounce o-sheen)? - I love both names but Ozias is really unique. I don't normally like Anglicizations of Irish names so Oisin is the Irish spelling.
Ignatius or Cosmas? - Ignatius is a fave of mine. I love the meaning of "fiery, ardent".
Valen or Valente ( VAL-EN-TAY)? - Not a fan of either name but I vote for Valen. Valente seems more of a surname than a fn.
Pryor/Prior or Peter? - Peter for sure! It's got depth and history and can pair well with many different styles. Prior/Pryor isn't very versatile. What do you call a sibling: Bishop, Deacon or Later?
Abram or Remy? - I love the strength of Abram and the softness of Rémy so I'm torn. Ok, I'll go for Rémy Abram! Phew!
Desmond or Sullivan? - Desmond has Irish spunk. Sullivan seems to be a trendy surname at the moment!
Lawrence or Lawson? - I prefer the Laurence spelling. This name has everything going for it: good meaning, ancient roots, saintly and literary pedigree. What's the appeal of Lawson?
Luther or Lewis? - I do prefer Louis with the French pronunciation of "loo-ee". Luther sounds kind of sinister to me.
Roman or Mercer? - Neither is a fave but I have to pick Mercer because I don't like the image I get with Roman (felon Polanski comes to mind!).
Felipe or Matvey? - Neither is my style but I prefer the Spanish Felipe to the Russian Matvey which just looks oddly misspelled to an English speaker (even though it's the correct Russian spelling).
    or Evander? -
Ozias or Ossian (pronounce o-sheen) ?
    Ignatius or Cosmas?
    Valen or Valente ( VAL-EN-TAY)?
    Pryor/Prior or Peter ?
    Abram or Remi/Remy?
    Desmond or Sullivan?
    Lawrence or Lawson?
    Luther or Lewis?
    Roman or Mercer?
    Felipe or Matvey?
    All the best,
    Mischa.
