Thanks for all the suggestions!
We're not sure on how to pronounce it yet, obviously we'd prefer to use the 'official' pn but Violet -a seems to be a more common pn. I suppose it depends on the flow with the other names.Tallulah, Persephone, Eris, Saskia, Natasha, Zhanna, Matthias, Andreas, Dean, Isaac, Jude, Christopher, Caleb, Victor, Fabian, Skyler, Dexter, Cecily, Alannah, Savannah, Hester, Britta, Xanthe, Temperence, Violetta, Anton, Anatoly, Maksym, Ilya, Raphael, Gabriel, Xanthe, Carmen, Electra, Dahlia.

I love Violetta! Violet-ah sounds quite awkward to me--I much prefer vee-oh-let-ta. Violet is my favorite of the Vio- family, but Violetta is my second favorite. I wish I could get behind Viola, as I'm a huge fan of Twelfth Night, but honestly, I love the elaborateness of Violetta, it's quite fun to say! I think it's a bit too frilly for me to use, but I would love meeting a little Violetta.
It reminds me of the opera.
I like Violetta Elise, Violetta Caroline, or Violetta Skye. Skye's not really my thing, but I keep coming back to Violetta Skye for some reason.Ashley | namenerd | Christian | storyteller

I have a daughter Violetta Elizabeth
I have a daughter we named Violetta Elizabeth, and she is 2 1/2 years old now. We love the name. We have had issues with mispronunciation - even when we tell people it's Vee-oh-let-a, they will repeat it back as Vi-oh-let-a. But we just correct them and it's fine. We have many many many compliments on how beautiful the name is, and it seems to fit her perfectly.
