    I would've said eh-lah-ra (I'm from England if that helps!) and I actually think it's really pretty. I also don't like the ee-lara pronunciation.

    Most names beginning with "El" are pronounced "eh" so I would do the same with Elara and pronounce it "eh-LAH-ruh".

    Thanks for your feedback everyone. It was this YouTube clip in particular that put me off the EE-la-ra pronunciation. I think it sounds pretty bad!
