    Question Pronunciation of Cassius

I like the name Cassius but I don't think I'm pronouncing it right. Is it pronounced Case-ius or Cass-ius (like Casper)? I pronounce it with "case" at the beginning rather than "cass"

I pronounce it like CASS-ee-us/CASS-yus, but I have also heard CASH-us, which I don't like so much. (Also, I'm from England, so that might depend from country to country...) Good luck - I love Cassius!

Cassius is "CASH-us" or "KA-shus" for me (like boxer Cassius Clay aka Muhammad Ali).
    All the best,
    Mischa.

I've usually heard it pronounced CASS-ee-us in the UK and CASH-us in the US.
