Mavity is so cool! I would name a brother for Mavity....
WoodrowDelicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns. ~George Eliot

I've always like Moriarty(meaning: expert navigator), but the Sherlock connection is strong.
Callaghan (meaning: bright-headed. Also thought to mean: war church or strife church)
Dempsey (meaning: descendant of proud)
Doyle (meaning: descendant of stranger)
Gallagher (meaning: descendant of stranger help)
Halloran (meaning: descendants of the stranger from across the sea. I really like the nn. Hal or Loran.)
Ivers (meaning: archer)
Lennon (meaning: descendant of lover)
Murdock (meaning: descendant of sea warrior)
Newelle (variation of Neville: meaning: new town. I think Newelle sounds more "surnamey" than Neville, though both are used as surnames.)
Quirke (meaning: heart)
Roche (variation of Roach: meaning: dweller by the rocks)
Sheridan (meaning: descendant of searcher)
Sullivan (meaning: descendant of little dark eye. Especially with the movie, Monsters University coming out, Mavity may like a "baby little monster".)
Of the names you selected:
Niko: my favorite! It doesn't fit too well with Mavity and doesn't feel like a surname.
Tavin: as a previous poster mentioned, Tavin is rather similar to Mavity. I really like Tavin though. It may be mistaken for Gavin upon first hearing it.
Trevyn: It feels rather trendy with the y placement and made up and not surnamey. It surprising to see it on the list with your rules in mind.
It's awesome that you created a family tradition. It's going to be so very special when your brothers and sisters explain the tradition to your family. They'll know that they have you to thank for giving them an opportunity to pass on family history and have very unique and individual names.
I think Mavity is a GORGEOUS name! Sorry for the excitement. I just think it's stunning. Best of luck to you.
