I know both names come from strong backgrounds. But I like Apollo better. I just get a nice image in my head when I hear Apollo. I know Asa was an important bibilical King of Judah. But I just feel Apollo is a stronger name. IMO

I love both names for different reasons. Asa is strong, manly and Biblical. Apollo is whimsical, ethereal and mythological. I think Asa would be my choice because I think it's a more versatile name that goes well with many different styles (eg. Asa can be paired with classic names, traditional names, Biblical names, mythological names etc, surnames like Everett...). Apollo would set the bar high and you may find it more difficult to find a sibling name to match its special quality. But if you love other mythological names as much as Apollo then that wouldn't be a problem.
    All the best,
    Mischa.

I vote for Asa since we are about to give that name to our son.
