Baby not far away!
*Update bottom of page
With less than a week until my due date time is running out to find a name!
We have sketched up a bit of a list and would love some feedback and more ideas! We have some questions for some of the names too. Our girl's list is quite long (but at least we have a list!!)
Clementine - does anyone know an adult Clementine? I love it for a young girl but I'm not sure about an adult.
Florence - I haven't been to Florence, can I still use the name?
Ives - leaning towards using this- as a first or middle (not sure which spot we prefer)
Thoughts and suggestions greatly appreciated. Last name begins with A (three syllables)

You have some great names on your list! My favourites are:
Clementine - but I struggle to imagine it on an adult
Florence -I think it is fine to use if you haven't been to Florence
Ives - prefer it in the middle spot
Edward Ives - love this! EIA might be too many vowels though!
William IvesProud Mum of Maximilian Charles, Felix James and Harold William.

My top two favorites:
(Can you tell I like the letter l combined with a long i sound? So pretty!) I like the middle name Mary with both-- Lila Mary or Violet Mary.
1. William- I just think you can't go wrong with this name. So handsome, and plenty of nicknames.
2. Charlie- Although I would do Charles, I still like Charlie. And I suppose Charlie carries into adulthood fine, unlike Sammy or Billy or something.
I think of Florence as a name first, and as a place name second. I think it's more than okay to use it if you've never been.

The bold names are my favorites from this list.
Clementine- Idk if I can see an adult Clementine, but I like the name.
Florence- You can most definitely use it even if you haven't been to Florence.
Rose- very common as a middle, but not a first. I say right on.
Lila- This is ridiculously pretty
Alice- One of my favorites I love the Alice in Wonderland connection
Violet- Also one of my faves Violet Lila or Lila Violet would make a good combo
Alexandra- When I was little, I wanted to be named Alexandra. I could never use it because my name is Alexis.
Sasha- feels outdated to me
Lola- I can only see it on a dog
Eden- Never liked it
Heidi- feels old fashioned, but maybe it's just me.
Mary- to plain. There's not enough spice or flair to this. Kinda a let down after seeing Evangeline.
Matilda- Always reminds me of the movie
Ives- prefer it in the middle
Benjamin- nice classic name
Samuel- nice and masculine
Charlie- I've always loved it
Edward- This is a horrible thing to say, but it reminds me of Twilight. I wouldn't use it for personal reasons.
Joel- unique and masculine
Rex- can't see it on a actual human. sorry
William- a nice, versatile, boy name
Winston- unique and pleasing to the eyes and ears
Judd- cool cowboy nameAlexis Rene
15 year old name addict
reading, writing, coffee

Clementine - I can picture this on an adult. I think there's an actress named Clementine Ford on a soap opera, and there's also the Clementine in the movie "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind."
Florence - I'm sure you can still this name, I associate it with Florence Nightingale along with the city.
Rose- I love this name, it's classic, sweet and ages well.
Lila- This would be fine but double l names are so common now I'm kind of sick of them.
Alice- I put this under the same category of Rose.
Violet- This is a name that's really been growing on me lately.
Alexandra- It's okay, but not my favorite.
Sasha- This name is just a bit too sweet and whisper-y for me.
Lola- LOLA L-O-L-A LOLA sorry all I can think of is the song
Eden- While it's too religious for me personally, I do like the sound of this name.
Heidi- This is another nice name, although it still screams "SWITZERLAND" to me.
Evangeline- Not my fave.
Mary- Nice, but I live in a Catholic neighborhood so I know a million Marys so I'm kind of tired of it. However it is an name that will never be dated, so that's nice.
Matilda- LOVE this name. "Matilda" was my favorite book as a kid and it's a pretty good movie and musical as well. I love both the nicknames Tillie and Mattie.
Ives - I like middle better.
Benjamin- Classic name, and I love Ben, but I know five personally.
Samuel- I guess because I know six female "Sams" in my grade alone the nn "Sam" is now very feminine to me, and I don't care for the full name Samuel.
Charlie- Love it.
Edward- Sadly, too Twilight-y nowadays.
Joel- Nice, if a bit forgettable. Just a few days ago I was playing a video game with a character named Joel, and my brother, who was playing with me, kept forgetting his name up until the end of the game.
Rex- I'd like to meet a Rex. Some think it's too much of a dog's name, but to me it's a fresher Max.
Austin- Persona association makes this weird for me, but otherwise it's a fine name.
William- A classic name, and I actually think Billy would be cute on a little boy.
Winston- Not my style
Judd- Not my style either
